Fenway Park stays busy during Boston's first school week. The Red Sox host two games against the Los Angeles Angels, take Thursday off, then welcome the Kansas City Royals for a three-game weekend series.

The homestand schedule

  • Tuesday, September 8: Angels at Red Sox, 6:45 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 9: Angels at Red Sox, 6:45 p.m.
  • Friday, September 11: Royals at Red Sox, 7:10 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 12: Royals at Red Sox, 4:10 p.m.
  • Sunday, September 13: Royals at Red Sox, 1:35 p.m.

Confirm first-pitch times, promotions and ticket availability on the official Red Sox schedule before leaving.

Plan around the neighborhood, not just the first pitch

Kenmore and Fenway stations become crowded before and after games, while rideshare pickup can slow around Brookline Avenue, Lansdowne Street and Boylston Street. Arriving early gives ticket holders time to clear security without turning the Green Line platform into the first inning.

Saturday's 4:10 p.m. game is the easiest to pair with another city plan. The Boston Arts Festival and several free neighborhood events run earlier that day, but crossing the city can take longer than expected. Choose one daytime stop, then leave a generous travel window for Fenway.
